Hi-Tech is on the Horizon!

It’s here, we are officially launching Hi-tech Horizons this month!

We have partnered up with leading hi-tech companies including Softcat, Gamma, The Rosalind Franklin Institute and Westcoast to deliver our exciting new initiative. The programme will reach and directly engage with 50,000 secondary school/college students over the next 5 years!

Michelle Smith, our CEO, shares her thoughts behind the programme,

We created this programme to meet the needs of Thames Valley hi-tech companies and to inspire young people, by showing them what working in this leading-edge sector is like and to showcase the array of opportunities available on their doorsteps.

Technology is everywhere and it will continue to enhance and deliver change within a vast number of sectors and businesses. Our future workforce has the skills and strengths to mean that they are perfectly placed for careers in hi-tech organisations, if they know about it! So, we created Hi-Tech Horizons to engage young people with professionals from the hi-tech arena to bring this to life for our future workforce.
