Financial education is increasingly recognised as a
fundamental life skill, which is vital for promoting children
and young people’s financial resilience and wellbeing.
Attitudes towards money are established early in
life, often by the age of seven, and these early
attitudes significantly influence ability to manage
finances into adulthood.
It’s never too early to learn the value of money, how much things cost, how to plan and budget, salary expectations for different career paths and how much you need to earn to fund your preferred lifestyle.
At EBP, we recognise that financial literacy is extremely important for personal success, as well as ongoing wellbeing and development, and therefore we have devised a full programme of Financial Awareness workshops for primary and secondary students.
These impactful workshops are delivered with the support of business volunteers who help people manage their money.
71% of students increased their knowledge about the wide range of true living costs by over 50%
100% of business volunteers said they felt they had made a real difference to young people

This has been a brilliant experience, I would love to do it again. It was really eye opening and beneficial to see how much is deducted from your salary” Student from The Clere School
